Today is short - here’s what we got:

🕊️ THANK YOU - an update on the newsletter

In partnership with the Talk to People Podcast

This Monday I’m releasing the first ever virtual episode of the Talk to People Podcast. It’s a conversation I had with Haley Ingersoll, the founder of Pittsburgh Social Health. She’s 27, has a passion for community, and built a program to give people who just moved to Pittsburgh a community. We all move so it’s a good listen.

⭐️ THANK YOU! ⭐️

I just wanted to reach out to say thanks for being a part of my newsletter.

It all started as a way to create content that could help people improve their conversations, relationships, and community.

Writing has been a work in progress for me. It’s challenging to sound sharp and it’s difficult to stay consistent.

Almost six months have passed, but I’ve gotten to a proud point.

I’ve had about 100 people subscribe to this newsletter.

Out of the 100, 10 of them have unsubscribed. Out of the 90 remaining, about 70% open the email on an average newsletter.

Currently, 63 people read the newsletter each time I press send.

In the world of social media, 63 people may not seem like much. But in the world of reading, that feels like a lot.

And if you’re reading this, you are one of the 63.

But in my head, you’re #1 ❤️

I’ve never been in a place where 63 people electively read my writing.

Yet here we are. So let’s have fun!

Let’s continue to build up and contribute creativity to the world.

Let’s jump at opportunity and be inspired by those doing better than us.

Let’s talk to that person in the break room, ask that tough question that would improve our life, and send that message we’ve been sitting on.

Let’s be excited for 2024.

I’m just a message, text, or call away.

Chris
