A Life Lesson We Can Learn From Popeyes Biscuits

Back at it again - with a finger lickin’ good email to your inbox.
Today is short - here’s what we got:
🍘 Here’s one life lesson we can all learn from Popeyes biscuit.
SPECIAL SHOUTOUT BELOW

Did you see the latest communication breakdown? It went viral.
What do you get when an American journalist sits down with the Russian president for two hours? You get a historic conversation! But what interested me most was the communication tactics both sides used to make it possible.

Popeyes biscuits 101

Have you ever had one? Buttery, flaky, warm, comforting, and irresistibly crumbly. It’s savory, while also being sweet, making it a perfect match for whatever entree you choose.
I love them and I’m not alone. I saw an article saying “Popeyes biscuits are the perfect thing to bring to any party!” I thought, “you’re right! That would be a great addition to a party.”
Imagine showing up to a football watch party with a box of fresh Popeyes biscuits and a bear shaped bottle of honey. Like this:

You would be an instant hit! People would be like, “I like him” Or they’d say, “I like her.” And when people ask why, they’d say, “because they brought Popeyes biscuits to the party.”
Sometimes getting along with people is that simple.
Sure - people are complex. It’s why I write about how to have better relationships. It’s why I record podcasts and make YouTube videos that get lambasted by haters.
But it’s also true that people are going to like you more if you show up to a party with warm Popeyes biscuits. And it isn’t limited to those flaky, golden biscuits. It can be Red Lobster cheddar biscuits or Annie’s homemade chocolate chip cookies.
Sometimes the best way to build better relationships, better communities, and a better life is a kind and simple act of goodwill.
And no, Popeyes biscuits are not unreasonably dry.
